Deletion of Theft Caution and ACRO Police Certificates
Our client had been issued a police caution in relation to a minor shoplifting allegation. The caution had been issued a number of years ago however it was causing difficulties in securing a long-term Visa overseas.
Even though the caution had been issued many years ago, it was being revealed indirectly on the client’s ACRO police certificate.
Once the client instructed us we promptly prepared representations for the expungement of her police caution.
Within a relatively brief period of time, the police agreed to expunge the client’s caution, including the PNC arrest record, the DNA and fingerprints, and also the client’s custody image.
