Our client received a police caution for the possession of drugs, both cannabis and cocaine.
The client was a successful professional and had been offered an excellent job opportunity in the United States of America. The client was also engaged to be married to a US citizen and so wanted to apply for US citizenship.
As the client’s caution was for possession of cocaine he was ineligible for a US Green Card. He would only be able to take up the job offer, get married, and settle down in the US if his caution was removed.
US Citizenship and Drugs Police Cautions
After we reviewed the client’s case we advised that he had grounds to have his caution expunged from the PNC. The client promptly instructed us and we set about applying for the deletion of the caution.
After a relatively short period of time the police agreed to the delete the client’s police caution.
ACRO Police Certificate “No Live Trace”
Now that the client’s police caution is deleted the client’s ACRO Police Certificate states “No Trace” and he was able to successfully apply for his US Green Card.
