We have again had a police caution deleted for a client, the client had been issued with a caution for harassment.

Despite being a successful professional, the caution prevented the client from obtaining citizenship under the Home Office’s “good character requirement”.

After reviewing the case, we were able to identity a potential avenue of appeal. Within a relatively short period of time the police had agreed to overturn the caution.

The client’s caution is now deleted from the Police National Computer (PNC) and the client was able to apply for British citizenship.

Sometimes the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclose details about arrests or provide non-conviction records on enhanced DBS certificates. We have extensive experience in appealing this type of disclosure by the DBS.

If your  ACRO police certificate states “no live trace” , we can help you clear your caution.

We are also experienced in challenging DBS barring applications or appealing existing DBS barring decisions.
