Community Resolution Deletion

A community resolution is an informal police disposal used for dealing with less serious crime and anti-social behavior, offering an alternative to formal police action, such as police caution. A community resolution does not create a record on the PNC, but if the person who was issued with the community resolution was arrested, they will have a record on the PNC. Also the police will usually keep a “local record” of the community resolution for at least 6 years.
