Deletion of Theft Caution for Visa

Our client had been issued with two police cautions. We had already successfully applied for the deletion of one of the client’s police cautions, which had been issued by a separate police force. We have now successfully also had the client’s second police caution deleted.

Both cautions had occurred a number of years ago when the client was young. Since that time he had developed a successful professional career, and had entirely moved on from his past.

The cautions however were preventing him from obtaining permanent residency overseas.

The police initially refused to delete the caution, however after making further detailed representations, the police overturned their original decision, and expunged the client’s caution.

Now that the client has had both of his caution’s deleted, his ACRO police certificate now states “no trace”.
