Deletion of Caution for Solicitation

Our client had been issued with a police caution for solicitation. The caution had been issued a number of years ago. Due to a move abroad, the caution was causing an issue for the client.

The client hope to move abroad and had been asked to provide an ACRO police certificate which would reveal his police caution, for further details about police certificates, please visit here: What is a police certificate?

After gathering together the police file we advised the client that he had a case to ask for the deletion of his police caution.

We promptly prepared detailed representations setting out the reasons why the caution ought to be deleted.

Within a relatively brief period of time the police agreed to the complete expungement of the client’s PNC record, biometric data, and custody image.
