Caution Deleted – Drunk and Disorderly Allegation

We have successfully applied for the deletion of a caution issued to our client several years ago.

The caution was impacting the client’s immigration application overseas, and we were instructed us to apply for its deletion.

After reviewing the client’s evidence we were able to determine that certain aspects of the allegation had not be properly established by the police. The client had been intoxicated, but the evidence did not support the allegation that the client had also been disorderly.

After reviewing our application, the police agreed to delete the client’s caution, PNC record, and DNA and fingerprints.

Although the allegation was minor, it was having a significant impact on the client’s life – principally with respect to immigration.

Once the caution was deleted, the obstacles that had been in the client’s way were lifted.
